Rusty Belle has been an underground folk-punk-acousto-roots force that always puts on a great show. What they sound like on their album is also what they sound like live: furious yet contained, archaic yet deliberate, edgy combined with rhythmic meticulousness.

Rusty Belle hails out of the heavy folk & indie scene in Northampton, Massachusetts. But their music sounds so much beyond what one can describe; you can only listen to their work and decide for yourself. Every song has its own imagination; even our pick of the week isn’t a great representation of this band. Check out Rusty Belle’s Myspace page for more of their great stuff.

Their musical machinations with electronics, hip-hop-styled beats, and their penchant to break the mold on song structure, comes together real well in this hit. Stylo will stay in your mind from the moment you hear it; it is crazy enough that it probably won’t get a lot of airplay ( though it should ). Also, Bruce Willis makes an appearance in the music video as well.

The above quote was the battle cry for many students and activist who protested for public education in California today.
