When you go to campus for the first time, especially in a big city such as Miami, finding stuff to do and pertinent information isn’t very easy.
But for the University of Miami freshman students this year, Lindsay Steidl provided a Facebook group to help students interact with each other.
The group has brought students together to get roommates, learn about the campus, interact with upperclassmen, learn about student groups, events, and more.
Here at the Wham, we strive to bring together the college communities, and to showcase activism that makes a better campus experience. Lindsay has provided the experience above and beyond most people, and we like to thank her for her Facebook group.
